How to Apply RE-STORE P

Follow these 6 steps to seal in maximum protection and shine.

Thorough Pre-Cleaning: Always ensure the coated aluminium has been thoroughly cleaned AND rinsed with Re-Store C, and allowed to dry completely.

Dispense onto Cloth: Apply a small amount of the hydrophobic Re-Store P emulsion onto a clean, lint-free cloth or microfiber towel.

Massage in Circular Motions: Gently massage a thin, uniform layer onto the powder-coated surface using smooth circular motions.

Keep Coating Ultra-Thin: Less is more! Keep the protective coating as thin as possible — a little goes a very long way.

Hand-Touch Test: Wipe the surface after application with the clean, dry back of your hand. The surface should feel silky smooth, but NOT oily.

Buff Off Any Excess: If any wet liquid is visible on the back of your hand, wipe the aluminium with a dry portion of your lint-free cloth until all excess liquid is removed.

Sun Exposure Advisory: For north-facing sliding doors and windows with continuous daily sun exposure, re-apply Re-Store P every 3 to 6 months to maintain impenetrable UV resistance and preserve vibrant original factory tones.

No. When applied correctly according to the instructions, Re-Store P cures to a dry-touch, silky finish. It does not attract airborne dust, sand, or pet hair, keeping your window frames immaculate.

We recommend applying Re-Store P after every thorough clean (every 6 to 12 months for inland homes, or every 3 to 6 months for coastal or heavy sun-facing installations). It can also be safely applied as often as desired in high-traffic zones.

For optimal results, you should always clean and rinse the frames with Re-Store C first. Applying protector over existing chalking or grime can trap impurities underneath. Clean first, then protect for a flawless showroom shine.

Yes! Re-Store P is completely transparent and formulated to enhance all powder coat colors (charcoal, white, bronze, black, silver, matte, and gloss) as well as natural and bronze anodised aluminium.
